The Dees don’t sweat it.
For the second week on the trot, the Melbourne Football Club shut their critics up, with a win in a place where it’s pretty damn difficult to get your hand raised. Buoyed by a defence that was well on top of the Crows forwards, and with the class of Christian Petracca making a huge difference, the Dees sent the Crows crashing to an 0-4 start.
Ah yes… the 0-4 start.
Adelaide had their chances. Make no mistake, this was a very winnable game, but early inaccuracy and a few key turnovers cost them dearly, with Melbourne always ready to make them pay for their mistakes.
There is a heap to get through in this one, and as with all Good, Bad and Ugly reviews, it can’t all be positive, so let’s jump into The Mongrel’s GBU of the big Melbourne win over Adelaide.
