Adelaide v St Kilda – The Mongrel’s Loves and Hates

The impressive season of the Adelaide Crows continued in Round Nine, with a solid win on home turf against the Saints.

The Crows displayed a perfect balance of controlled aggression and superb skills by foot as they broke down the St Kilda defence and controlled the back half, despite the absence of Nick Murray.

Tex Walker was fantastic, taking on one of the in-form defenders in the game in Callum Wilkie and emerging the five-goal victor, whilst the run from half-back and through the centre from Wayne Milera, Lachie Sholl, and Jordan Dawson was far too much to handle for what looked like a one-speed St Kilda midfield.

In the end, it was a 52-point win for the home team, as they moved into the top eight and demonstrated that they may be able to do a bit of damage this year.
