2022 AAMI Series – GWS v Collingwood

The Pies and Giants were the next two teams to tangle as part of the AAMI Series and it resulted in the Giants kicking away after a relatively even first half of footy.

With a dominant midfield, the Giants were able to control the tempo of the game, resulting in some great ball movement and good delivery inside 50. Also impressive was the willingess of players to work both ends of the ground.

The Pies trotted out some of their young talent, but were let down by some experienced players, whilst the Giants received solid contributions across the board.

Plenty to take out of this one as we head into the 2022 season – let’s take a look at what The Mongrel saw.
