Difference Maker? Is Logan McDonald the key to the 2026 Swans?

The Sydney Swans would be reflecting on their 2025 season as one of extreme disappointment.

Well done, HB… coming out of the gates stating the obvious. However, their second half of the season was not all bad.

There were signs.

Not brilliant signs, and not as consistent as Dean Cox would have liked, but with Errol Gulden back in the mix, the Swans started to resemble the team that were a game removed from capturing the 2024 flag. However, the forward line continued to present issues, and it is when looking elsewhere and seeing what is possible, that you might start to see that this team could take a significant step back up the ladder in 2025… IF the work has been done.

This work I speak of comes in the form of a forward talent that failed to get on the park in 2025.
