2026 AAMI Series – Sydney v GWS – The Rundown

When there’s a storm on the horizon, it’s important to hit the scoreboard early and often. And that’s exactly what the Sydney Swans did against GWS in their AAMI Series clash on Thursday afternoon.

The Swans opened up a big early lead, as they did all the attacking and put the Giants under constant pressure, heading into the first break with a healthy four goal lead.

From there, the Giants dug in and started to bridge the gap, but the Swans opened the third quarter with three-straight goals to put the game to rest. As the rain bucketed down, goals became harder to find, with Sydney and their first-quarter dominance, good enough to walk away with a 38-point win.

So, what does it all mean for Round Zero?

That’s why I’m here. Let’s jump into the Rundown of the Swans and Giants from Henson Park.

Dump the mainstream lip service and dive into articles like this – you will never look back. If you don’t want to, that’s fine. I consioder it your loss as we get into the grind of the season, and you’re stuck with the stuff that’s frustrated you for years.
