It’s difficult not to fall in love with Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera as a player. I don’t know what he’s like away from the field, but if he has moves that are comparable to those he displays on the park, I reckon he may just go alright.
However, we are now entering the phase of the season where love is not enough – not if you’re St Kilda. We know they love him, but does he love them back? Does he love them enough?
In the last few days, we have had stories flying around about Big Wang and South Australia. He’s supposedly catching up with Jason Horne-Francis and Jase Burgoyne for dinner, and he is allegedly stating he doesn’t want to go to the Crows, as he has issues with Taylor Walker.
Of course, that was reported by Caroline Wilson, who would try to convince you the sky isn’t blue if there were a headline in it, and his since been shot down by Wanganeen-Milera’s management and prompted the young fella to call Tex to deny the report.
But there remains a cloud of uncertainty over his future. Coming out of contract, Nasiah is probably the hottest signature in the game. Harley Reid, for as many headlines as he generates, has another year to run on his deal with West Coast. Wanganeen-Milera’s expires after this season.
Where will he go? Where should he play his footy in 2026 and beyond?
Time to take a dive into the options.
