Robbie Flower Wingman of the Year – Round Five – PLUS Best Wing Duos

And now for something completely different…

Each week here, at The Mongrel Punt, your old pal, HB, puts together the scores for the Robert Flower Wingman of the Year. It was the first weekly ranking we tried here, commencing in 2020, and over the journey, has provided a great insight into who the best outside runners are in the AFL.

But sometimes (about four times per year, I’ve decided), I need to change things up, and this week is one of those.

You see, whilst the Robbie Flower Award is all about the best in the business, individually, it is only when two wingmen work cohesively, that we see the best of them.

And with that in mind, it is only just that we also keep an eye on the best wing combinations in the game.

Smell what I’m cooking?

So, whilst I will also give the top ten individual wingmen in the business right now, it’s time to look at the duos, as well.
