Okay, it seems some people missed the point of the last article I wrote of this nature. For your sanity, and mine, please read the title – it is meant to be an overreaction. Sometimes, they’re over the top and not particularly well-thought-out. That’s the intention.
Got that?
Good, let’s continue.
This weekend, we saw several scenarios play out that warranted me getting all bent out of shape like an erratic reactionist.
- The Bombers got caned by the Crows.
- Collingwood enjoyed greater than a 2-1 free kick advantage as they snuck home against the Dogs.
- Jamarra Ugle-Hagan reportedly opted to go to the pub over attending the 100th year Bulldogs celebration.
- The Saints upset the Cats.
- Simon Goodwin alluded to personal issues impacting the performance of Max Gawn.
- Laura Kane was so poor at her job that the AFL appointed a babysitter.
- And Caroline Wilson became an advocate of player mental health after years of making a living out of preying on the lives of people.
A lot to get through there, right?
Time to overreact in a big way.
