AAMI Series – West Coast v North Melbourne – The Big Questions

Sometimes it sounds a bit dumb to hear someone say a team has to learn how to win. I mean, if they’re good enough, they will, right?

You’d think so.

And yet, with most of the footy, and stats heavily skewed in their favour, North Melbourne were unable to put the West Coast Eagles away. And when you permit a team to hang around, you’re asking for trouble.

That’s exactly what the Eagles gave North in their AAMI Series clash, as they kicked truly when it mattered to take the win.

Sporting some new faces, and welcoming back an old one in new colours, a long bomb from Liam Baker gave the Eagles the lead for the final time, as they continued to learn how to win games of footy.

For North, more lessons are evidently needed, as poor turnovers, and wasted footy came back to haunt them in a big way.

There were plenty of things to catch the eye in Bunbury. Time to jump in with The Mongrel’s Big Questions of the West Coast win over North Melbourne in the AAMI Series.
