Sydney v GWS Match Sim Talking Points

The lightrail running past in the background, kids on a school excursion along the fence… it was a nice setting as the Swans and Giants knocked heads in their final match-sim before the AAMI Series kicks off.

The Swans would have been champing at the bit to get out on the field and play some real opposition – all they’ve heard since the end of the 2024 season was how they collapsed on the biggest stage.

Again.

As for the Giants, they suffered their finals loss at the hands of the Lions, as well, but unlike the Swans, they had Brisbane on toast, and see 2024 as an opportunity lost.
