I’m sure you’re in the same boat as I am, at times. You come into a game with a certain understanding of the way teams play, and how you ‘think’ the game will play out.
You form an opinion based on what you’ve seen up until that point, and think you know how the contest will go. Team A is too strong because… we all do it. We all have pre-conceived notions as to how and why one team will best the other.
Time to put that to the test in the game pitting the Cats against the Roos.
Prior to this game, I listed a set of outcomes I believed we’d see during the game. I have not altered these statements to make myself look better, and am happy to be incorrect, but it is interesting to see how a game can change your perception of a team, or a player, along the way.
This is a new type of review for me, so I am interested to see how it goes.
