R19 – Adelaide v Essendon – The Big Questions

Well, where do you start with a game like this?

How can you do it justice?

In a game of extreme ebbs and flows, it was Ben Keays playing his heart out. It was Josh Rachele seeking and finding some sense of redemption for the last time these clubs met. And it was the Adelaide Crows standing up on the road – something they struggled to do all last year, to pick up a huge win over the Bombers.

And where does this leave Essendon?

Sitting half a game inside the top eight, they now look at the remainder of Round 19 with the knowledge they may find themselves outside the top eight, after eyeing off top four just a couple of weeks ago.

So many things to get through in this one. So many stories to cover. Let’s jump into The Mongrel’s Big Questions, and see where the review leads us.
