Fremantle v Port Adelaide – Practice Match Review

The Dockers and Power clashed in their final hit out before the real stuff begins in a fortnight, with Freo too strong on their home turf, winning by five goals.

With Nat Fyfe playing out of the goal square and Alex Pearce on the last line of defence, the Dockers had a pair of wonderful bookends, but it was up to a midfield that is quickly turning into a powerhouse to get the job done.

For Port, without Travis Boak, they turned to Connor Rozee to lead the way in the midfield and got some solid work from their prized off-season recruit, Jason Horne-Francis.

HB jumps into the details and what it all means as he reviews the standouts from Fremantle v Port Adelaide.

Uh oh… paywall. We’re gonna cover as many practice games this weekend as technology and lack of sleep will allow for our members. All preseason game coverage will be restricted and will not open up like our Home and Away reviews. Of course, these reviews are only a couple of thousand words. H&A season… I’ll get the game face on. Want to join us?
