Port Adelaide supporters have been a little spoilt over the years by the feats of Robbie Gray.

It’s at the point these days where you see the ball land in his hands in a pressure situation, and you tend to breathe a little easier.

It’ll all be okay… Robbie has the footy.

We can cast our minds back to the 2020 season against Carlton, with Gray parked against the fence, looking for the kick that would give Port the win, or see them fall to the Blues.

To paraphrase Mark Lecras… you all know what happened next.

And so it was again in the Round Four clash against the reigning premier in 2021. With the Power down and the momentum swinging against them, Port Adelaide needed someone to step up. Once again, they looked to their champion, and once again… he delivered.
