I’ve seen this occur when it comes to assessing the key defensive spots in the All-Australian team, with Harris Andrews having just two to his name, despite being the best big defender in the game over the last ten years.
And now, the same can be said for the ruck division, as people seek out a way to displace Max Gawn as the league’s premier big man.
But here’s the thing – Gawn still has a very strong claim on that title, and he has some numbers back it up.
